Job Description
- Experienced in conducting quantitative analysis of promotions and incentives.
- Measuring returns and the impact of promotions, profitability, market share increase and inventory.
- This position will be responsible for presenting and communicating findings to upper level management.
- Utilizing tools such as SAS, Access/Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Econometric/Statistical Modeler
- Experience in developing models and working with statistical techniques to identify key drivers and profitable impact of promotions and incentives.
- Utilizing Statistical tools such as SAS, SPSS, DataMiner.
- Automotive Industry background is a plus with data knowledge of RL Polk, Pin Data, etc...
- PHD in Statistics or Economics is a plus.
- Database Management including managing integrity of data including cleaning data.
- Experience in Oracle and SQL.
- Ethnic Quantitative Analyst
- Experience in developing ethnic segmentation and sub-groups within Ethnic Groups. Expertise in identifying effective data resources is a must.

Marketing Database Analyst

Job Description
Assist and support the Manager of Marketing Databases to continually develop and revise (as needed) appropriate reporting of customer, prospect, market and product information.
- Participate in marketing decisions and make recommendations using market research information.
- Prioritize and complete projects as assigned by the Manager of Marketing Databases, Director of Marketing Information and/or the Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising.
- Prioritize and complete miscellaneous data requests as assigned by the Manager of Marketing Databases; follow-up with initial requester to ask appropriate questions in order to interpret and decipher underlying needs and respond with useful results, analysis and recommendations.
- Provide comprehensive yet clear and concise summations of data analyses in either written, verbal or in presentation form.
- Provide timely and accurate data in support of Primary Market Research projects including customer or product analyses and customer satisfaction studies.
- Understanding of data analysis designs, methodologies and techniques including specifics related to market research.
- Relate and compare data from different sources and across various reports to provide meaningful analyses; secure relevant information in order to identify issues and determine relationships for resolution.
- Create and/or update policies and procedures as necessary.
- Support Marketing campaigns including direct mail initiatives and catalog mailings through the selection of appropriate customers and/or prospects and communication of that information to fulfillment vendors.
- Provide information in support of cross selling initiatives and other promotional activities across all lines of business. Interact professionally with other corporate departments, field partners and external vendors to create a positive and helpful image of the overall Marketing department, the Market Research department and the functions of a Marketing database analyst.
REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree. Analytical mindset including relevant experience in data analysis. Exposure to or experience in Marketing or Market Research. Advanced knowledge of computers and software programs including at minimum Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Outlook.
